A smashing repair!

We’ve seen it all before and we will probably see it again: if you are unlucky enough to have an accident, we will be able to help. We can work with both insurance companies and privately to restore your car to its former glory. Below you can see just how this Austin-Healey was brought back from what looks like an unsalvageable car to being back on the road enjoying summer fun once again!

A little bit cross-eyed

This Austin-Healey was returning home after a European road trip when another road user pulled out into its path. As you can see, there was extensive damage to the offside front and it was clear by the position of the wheel that the chassis was bent.

Time to reverse the damage

Once the main areas of damage have been cut away, the damage can simply be reversed using a chassis jig and pullers.

Back on the straight and narrow

A new chassis, substructure and sills have been welded into place, measured and aligned to the correct dimensions.

Taking shape

Time for the team in the bodywork department to take over, fitting new aluminium wings and shrouds. Some may have thrown it away and bought another car but it is amazing what can be brought back from the brink.
