August Natters & Nibbles – Saturday 15th August 2015
Thirsty weather
August is the height of summer time in our temperate zone of the nothern hemisphere. The longest day of the year has passed but hopefully we still have some hot, sunny, blue sky days left to enjoy. The birds are already planning to fly south for the winter and many of us have chosen to go on holiday. If you are not away on Saturday 15th August 2015 for our fifth Natters and Nibbles date of the year, then we would love to see you.
Don’t forget if you would like to put your car up on a ramp, please book a slot with Bill Rawles at info@rawlesclassiccars.co.uk
If after all that talking you are feeling a little thirsty and ready for lunch, then we have plenty of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants in our locality that you can drive on to.
We have a couple of facebook albums, that we are constantly adding to, that may inspire you to take a ride out into the surrounding countryside or to our small market town of Alresford or further down the A31 to the beautiful cathedral city of Winchester. We were trying for a 100 pubs in an Austin Healey 100 but we are failing miserably, Pubs and Classic Cars, which again needs some serious attention due to a serious lack of outings and Club Arnage a small car club we were invited to join with the aim of classic cars meeting at a pub venue.
To whet your appetite here are a few links to some of our local pubs and of course if you discover one that you feel we should add to this list, then please let us know :-
