Saturday 16th May 2015 Jack Rawles & Ivan Hayward will be heading up to Oulton Park Race Circuit to compete in the third round of the Equipe GTS Race Series. This series is designed for pre 1966 cars with engines spread across five classes from under 1150cc to 2700cc. The aim is to ‘provide a competitive yet gentlemanly, safe and friendly race series with a high standard of driving and car preparation’. Having just returned from Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, which was Jack Rawles first time out racing in a classic car, he will be looking to improve his race position. Jack Rawles finished 4th in class and will be looking for a podium finish.
The MG Car Club Race Championships consists of several championships and race series.
This weekend will also see the third round of the Lackford Engineering MG Midget & Austin Healey Sprite Challenge. The Midget Challenge caters for the ever green post war Midgets and Austin Healey Sprites racing in three classes, for full race modified cars, modified cars and road going cars.
