2014 Restoration Overview
Here is a taster of our restoration overview as we start 2014. Bill Rawles started his working life in an engineering background and qualified as a toolmaker. In 1987, at just 25 years old, Bill decided to set up his own restoration company, starting to work mainly on VW Beetles and Camper Vans but soon decided to specialise in his childhood dream car, the Austin Healey. Bill started out trading as Rawles Engineering and then there was a name change to Rawles Motorsport, shortly before he sold this business in 2007. Bill Rawles then went on to set up his completely new standalone company Bill Rawles Classic Cars, which has no links to Rawles Motorsport. Understandably, sometimes there can be a small level of confusion regarding Rawles Motorsport and Bill Rawles Classic Cars but if it is Bill Rawles his reputation, attention to detail, dedication, expertise, strong skill set, honest and open opinion that you are seeking be sure to contact Bill at Bill Rawles Classic Cars based in Four Marks, Near Alton, Hampshire – GU34 5JA – 01420 564343
Bill Rawles now has over 30 years’ experience restoring, repairing and maintaining classic cars and his skills are sought after from all over the UK, Europe, the States and Australia.
