Bill Rawles Classic Cars is a family run business that never forgets that people and their passion for their cars are at the centre of it. We like to treat people, like we like to be treated ourselves and we intend to always make our visitors feel welcome, and when time does permit there is usually a cup of tea on offer as well. During working hours the workshop can be a very busy place and Bill became aware that people do like to pop up to see everyone, to have a chat, ask questions, seek advice and just generally share there news and ours. During these busy times Bill became conscious, that sometimes, he was unable to give his full attention.
Homemade cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches are on offer at our Saturday Natters & Nibbles.
In 2012 Bill and the team came up with the plan of hosting a Saturday coffee morning, during the spring and summer months, to provide a time designated to socialising with other classic car enthusiasts, with our classics being the common thread. We thought that it would be a great idea if we provided a regular venue for a Saturday morning drive out, knowing that on arrival there would always be a relaxed, comfortable greeting, a cuppa, a bacon roll and maybe even some homemade cake. The mornings have really taken off and become very popular amongst the many other classic car fanatics in the community at large.
With prior arrangement you can put your car on one of our ramps and take alook underneath with Bill Rawles
With prior arrangement Bill Rawles also offers for you to put your car on the ramp to look underneath and carry out a small health check. The mornings are very informal, friendly and a casual affair, usually kicking off about 10 O’Clock and when the weather has been kind to us we have be known to still have guests, seemingly reluctant to go home, long after our published finishing time of 1 O’Clock. It is our relaxed and friendly ethos, which we hope makes people feel that they have not out stayed there welcome.
Thank you for your generous donations to The Alton & Petersfield MS Society
This year we also took the opportunity of collecting for The Alton & Petersfield MS Society after numerous suggestions that we should either charge for our mornings or collect for a charity. It became apparent that people were more than willing to make a donation as a mark of appreciation for our hospitality. This charity was chosen due to the fact that Bills older sister, Angie, has suffered for a number of years and we wanted to help a charity close to our hearts. The 2013 collection has not yet been counted but the grand total will be announced in a later blog.

As we can declare that Bill Rawles Classic Cars Natters & Nibbles coffee mornings were so successful, for a second year running, we will be hosting again in 2014.
