MG Live 20th and 21st June 2015
Silverstone will be celebrating 65 years of hosting the MG Live Event
For 2015 the MG Car Club’s annual two day motoring festival will feature the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Competitions Department at Abingdon. MG Live at Silverstone promises to be a fabulous mix of MG’s rich heritage and exciting future. The weekend has an international flavour and attracts an array of MGs from around the world. Last year we went to MG90, celebrating 90 years of the MG. It was remarkable to see the development of the marque from the early 1920s to current day.
MG Live is a family friendly day out with attractions for everyone. There is so much to see and do, including stands, trade stalls, autojumble, displays, exhibitions, circuit tours and various forms of entertainment. This year Jack Goff, BTCC driver will there on Saturday 20th with his 888 BTCC MG6.

Jack Rawles and Ivan Hayward will be racing over the weekend in an MGB.
HDI Austin Healey Invitation Challenge – Sunday 21st June 2015
Healey Sport have organised a 50 minute, optional two driver race on Sunday 21st June 2015. The race has classes for Big and Small Austin Healeys including 100M & S 4 cylinder cars, 100/6 & 3000 6 cylinder cars, plus Sprites and WSM’s at the organisers discretion. Bill has been working frantically to get his Austin Healey 3000 race car ready for the race but I think time has not been on his side. It will be a fantastic sight to see a full grid of Healeys. It will be exciting and a spectacle to see.
