Austin-Healey 3000 FIA racing car
Occasionally, an opportunity arises for the purchase of a vehicle in perfect condition, at the end of a rebuild at a fraction of the cost. This is certainly the case here.
Built by Anders Schildt of sideways engineering in Sweden, this was the personal race car of Anders before sale to the current owner in 2013.
The car was raced 10 times by the new owner before an unfortunate accident which damaged the car. During the process of repair, the owner was persuaded to complete a full rebuild and restoration of this racing car to a very high standard, to be expected from Anders and his team.
Between 2015-2016 the car was completely repaired and restored, taken back to a bare chassis, blasted, painted and the car has been built by sideways engineering to endurance spec with a quoted 280 bhp from the engine which is very much in line with all front running Healeys.
Engine is endurance spec with full steel bottom, alloy head etc at 280-285 bhp. Sebring box with OD, LSD, Welch halfshafts etc. and more high quality sideways engineering upgrades than can be listed here. The car is ‘on the money’ and has been tested by Anders Schildt in readiness for sale. The car is fresh and ready to go with current FIA papers.
The car is provided with some spares included such as brake pads, wheels and small spares for running the car as needed.
To build this car today would be in excess of £225,000.

Currently domicile in Sweden but can be delivered worldwide with transport and import by separate negotiation and depending on end destination, may be included in the price as a gesture of goodwill.
