Dispatched in January 1963, this Austin Healey is an original, UK right hand drive car, one of only 455 made for the UK market. A highly desirable model and in the most popular colour of ice blue.

The Austin-Healey MKIIA (BJ7) has a blend of arguably the best features in an Austin Healey. With wind up windows, and an easy to erect hood. Combined with the early dashboard and small side lights synonymous with early cars. The engine is the throaty 3 litre engine with 1” 3/4 carburettors.

The car is presented in fair condition having been through our workshops for an inspection & report and a small number of items completed to bring the car up to spec. This included replacement of engine core plugs, front brake callipers, heater controls, a full road test and preparation for sale.

This car is perfect for someone who is looking for a more affordable Austin Healey, summer fun or the rarity of a MKIIA. It is also great for those looking for the practicality of a MK3 but want the early features of a 3000 MKI & II. This Healey is now showing some signs of tiredness, mostly in the body work, as you will see from some of the photos provided. This does not reduce the desirability of this vehicle as it presents extremely good value in the current market.

The car comes with a good history file, current ownership has been since the 1980’s and there are receipts dating back showing good maintenance records.
